VisiononTV.net is an internet-based TV channel that offers top quality films and chat shows that reflect the UK and global counter-culture. Hamish Campbell, Director of VisiononTV.net heard about Own-it via an existing business support website just after the project had started. After attending three Own-it events Hamish says he "gained confidence in what IP was and why it matters."
The Own-it events provided a springboard into more detailed advice when VisiononTV.net was ready to launch. Hamish got in touch using Own-it's online IP Advice service and was referred to an IP Clinic with a lawyer. This one-to-one session taught Hamish what he wanted to know about how best to manage the IP rights of his project and the charitable foundation that he wanted to run alongside the organisation. As a result of the Own-it IP Clinic, Hamish was introduced to a specialist law firm that could advise him on the best structure for his IP assets and that could help with the long-term growth of his media venture.
