Julien Mcdonald has done it, Orla Kiely has and so has Mathew Williamson. Licensing your fashion designs and getting them into the major high street department stores is a way of diversifying, getting new customers and getting royalty cheques in the post.
This event will look at licensing deals in the fashion industry, collecting royalties and protecting your copyright. It will also look at a typical fashion licensing contract, territories, duration and product and how you can work out whether it’s in your favour or not.
