An illustrated talk on IP and copyright issues for photographers, which
will offer visual examples of copyright infringements. Mathew Ward
(photographer) and Martin Cameron (AOP) will also respond to questions and
will offer points for further discussion. The event will also feature a
screening of the video 'Creators Have Rights', which documents the problems
the UK's creative community faces within today's media environment, and
identifies their origins. The video's contributors include composers Nigel
Hess and David Ferguson, cartoonist Steve Bell, film director Maurice
Phillips, writers Maureen Duffy, Deborah Moggach and Jeremy Sandford,
photographer and web designer Mike Laye and journalists Dr Steve Wilkinson
and Alex Pascal.
