Queen Mary's Law School Advice Centre for the Arts take place on the first Wednesday of every month. The Centre is situated in room G1 in the Department of Law at Queen Mary's Mile End Campus. The Centre is open to staff, students and members of the public by appointment.

Free Legal Advice for Hackney's Businesses

Hackney Legal Connections - a free advisory programme for local businesses. Hackney Law Centre in partnership with HBV Enterprise and Linklaters are currently running a FREE legal advice scheme for new and small businesses in Hackney. (Conditions apply). The advice surgeries take place every two weeks at Hackney Law Centre, and HBV Enterprise books appointments. The surgeries aim to help clients identify what their legal issues are, provide them with initial advice and help clients decide whether they need to seek further help.

The areas of law for one to one advice that is covered are: Corporate and Contract Law, Property Law, Intellectual Property and Taxation.
